RheoCast offers direct subscriptions and access through ChurchCast ministry bundles. This page explains how accounts, licensing, and usage work.
Sign-In Options
Google Sign-In
The recommended way to activate RheoCast. Your account syncs subscription status, usage, and church profile across devices.
Important: Your device's date and time must be correct for sign-in and all features to work properly. If you see 403 errors or an "Incorrect Date & Time" screen, enable automatic time sync in your system settings. See Troubleshooting for details.
License Key
Organizations with a pre-issued license key (common with ChurchCast bundles) can activate without Google sign-in:
- Click I have a license key on the welcome screen.
- Enter your key and verify.
- Complete church profile setup if prompted.

Plan notes
The Broadcast tab is free. Cameras, scenes, transitions, audio mixing, local recording and live streaming to YouTube, Facebook or custom RTMP are included on every plan, including Free. Paid plans are about live transcription, automatic verse detection, Creator Studio, imported Bibles and the NDI / browser-source outputs.
- Minute pooling — Pro and Ministry plans allow using all device minutes on a single machine if preferred.
- AI credits — Shared across all devices on the subscription; reset monthly.
- No rollover — Unused transcription minutes and AI credits do not carry to the next month.
- Annual billing — Available with discount; usage still resets monthly.
ChurchCast Bundle Access
Churches subscribed to eligible ChurchCast plans receive RheoCast access as part of their ministry toolkit — no separate RheoCast subscription needed.

Device Limits
Each plan allows a maximum number of registered devices. When you sign in on a new computer, it counts toward your device limit.
License keys are device-bound — one activation per key unless your plan specifies otherwise.
Manage devices through your account dashboard or contact support if you need to deactivate an old machine.
Usage Tracking
RheoCast tracks two usage types:
Transcription minutes
Time spent with live listening active. Displayed in Settings → Subscription.
- Counts only while transcription is active (Start is pressed below Live Transcript)
- Checkpoints during long sessions
- Syncs to your account when online
AI credits
Consumed when generating content in Creator Studio or using related verses during live sessions. Each generation uses a portion of your monthly credit pool.
Upgrading
Click Upgrade in the app or visit Pricing to move from Free to Pro or Ministry. Existing sessions and church profile data are preserved.
Subscription Management
View your current plan, usage, and billing details in Settings → Subscription inside the app.

Free Trial
New accounts may receive a trial period with limited transcription access. The trial badge appears in the app header when active. Upgrade before it expires to avoid interruption during live services.
