RheoCast

Welcome to RheoCast

Official documentation for RheoCast — AI-powered scripture presentation for live sermons.

RheoCast is built for churches and ministries that want scripture on screen as it is spoken — without scrambling through Bibles, slides, or search boxes during a live service.

The desktop app transcribes your sermon audio, detects scripture references automatically, and sends verses to your projector or production software. After the service, Creator Studio helps you turn the same session into summaries, notes, devotionals, and social posts.

What RheoCast Is — and What It Isn't

RheoCast is Bible presentation software. Its job is to detect spoken scripture and display verses on screen during a sermon — on your projector, stream overlay, or broadcast feed.

RheoCast is not a streaming platform. The current version does not stream video to Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, or other platforms. There is no "go live to social media" feature built into the app.

What you can do instead: Use RheoCast alongside the tools you already have. Feed scripture into OBS, vMix, ProPresenter, or similar software via NDI, browser overlay, or a dedicated projector — then let those tools handle your camera mix and stream to the internet. See Display & Output.

Note on controls: In the operator window, Start (below the live transcript) means start transcription. The Go Live toggle (on the Display Preview panel) sends scripture to your configured output — projector, NDI, or browser overlay. Neither starts a video stream to Facebook, YouTube, or social media.

How a Typical Service Works

  1. Before service — Select your microphone, choose a Bible translation, and open the display on your projector or stream.
  2. During service — Click Start to begin transcription. Turn Go Live ON to project detected verses to your output.
  3. Present verses — High-confidence detections can auto-display, or you can click a detection / search result to send it to the output.
  4. After service — Open Creator Studio, pick the session, refine the transcript, and generate follow-up content for your congregation.
